BASIS is now a Political Entity 

BASIS arranged and completed the Digital-World Expo 2014. In the closing ceremony they were to announce the few of the Best in categories like Apps, Stall-Decorations etc. The ceremony started on-time and were extended on political topics by 1-hr, but as of this writing BASIS still has not announced the winners/finalists.

In recent times since Mr. Shamim took over the helm BASIS has become a place for Directors-Only Club. Mr. Russel ( Champs21) , Mr.Abir ( MCC Ltd) has been widely known for internal trading and keeping a closed circle for all business opportunities that comes from the Bangladesh Government ,  NTF-II ( Netherlands funded ), Japan focus group etc.

BASIS is been leader-ed by non-tech bureaucrats who has no love for the Nation or Technology. Its all about sharing projects among the directors and delivery quality is "Take the money and Run" .
   


     

Chowdhury Community Center, an ir-responsible business located at Dhanmondi.


They are loud and un-clean. They have no parking facility so on a party nights cars are all over foot paths(!) and at the edges at the intersection causing frequent traffic jams. Drivers of these cars would be standing adrift or gathered gossiping along these footpaths,  smoking, yelling, spitting . A horrible slum scene emerges as these guys take over the low-lit footpaths from the evening to midnight.  

In the morning I never see these  Community Center guys cleaning up  the streets, the streets get cleaned up by the City Corporation cleaners. They rather feed the local street-dogs the wastes from last night.
