Why is this important to have people of Sierra Leone people sing the "আমার ভাইয়ের " and have that broadcasted?

It is because as Bangalee/Bangladeshi we have no self respect!
We feel confident only when we see these white folks accepting ( or pretending to accept) our culture. The same mentality shows in authorships,  writing a book in English is much more prestigious than writing in Bangla.


In general speaking and writing in pure colloquial Bangla is the most difficult skill to achieve for any educated Bangalee. As we been slipping in English words as sign of education, we have lost the simple no-englisg-mixing way of speaking or writing Bangla.

Kudos to মহিউদ্দিন খান আলামগীর ( Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir), the once State Minister of Bangladesh who tried hard to speak bangla free of all english junks.

I had the opportunity to present the preliminary concepts of DRM and whats to do with eBook Piracy at the Session #4 Titled "DRM and Combating Book Piracy in the Digital Age". It was scheduled for 12:15PM, but finally started at 1:30PM on the Day-2.

The session was chaired by Mr. Mustafa Jabbar ( Bijoy) , fellow speakers were Mr.A.K. Sabbir Mahbub ( Chairman@Dev.net ) and an Advocate from India. 

I explained how "DRM" is rather enabling all-parties to do what they are entitled  (legal) to do, it can enable us so that each party in the supply chain gets paid for their effort. Authors could eventually focus on their writings and less on worry over the uncertainty of royalty.    

Authors can get a direct feedback from their readers. 

DRM is a Ever-Improving project, since we started Boipoka  at MobioApp.com our web site has been hacked once and the Android app has been hacked twice. We been constantly improving our offerings to overcome these challenges. 

Currently for each 5 ebook sales, we sell one in India. 

Bangladesh Copyright Act-2000/2005 had put the cornerstones for the Authors to claim "Ownership" of their work just like any other property. This allows the authors to allow others to use the property within certain guidelines. This also chalks out the penalties in case of "Breach".  While this is not adequate but just enough to give the DRM-Pirates, Bootleggers a good run for their reputation.

Passport renewal for a < 16 yr old, ( born in NYC)  at Dhaka Embassy.

[STEP 1] Fill out the DS-11 from the web and get a printout, staple 2 Passport Photos in the form

[STEP 2] Get a appointment at the embassy using the appointment URL

[STEP 3] Reach Embassy 15 mins prior to appointment, say "Citizens Service" at the gate

[STEP 4]ALL-SET: When they call your Name they will make sure the Application is complete, will take all docs from D1 to D4  and give you a stub to pay the Fee at the next step

[STEP 5]PAYMENT: Pay the Fee using  the stub you get at Step 4 in the payment Window. Collect 2 receipts for the payment

[STEP 6]INTERVIEW: Here She asks for D6 and all the questions ( see below). In the D-11 Form Mom & Dad will have to sign in from of the interviewer and He/She will verify the sign against the submitted  D6. Once convinced she will give you "Customer Copy" of the payment receipts where (1) She/He put a seal (2) Ask the Mom/Dad to sign on the back. Using this receipt the signatory will be able to collect the renewed passport when ready at Simons.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman : Contribution in the Legal System and Dinner with VVIP

He is popularly referred to as Sheikh Mujib (shortened as Mujibor Mujibur, not Rahman), with the honorary title of Bangabandhu (বঙ্গবন্ধু Bôngobondhu, "Friend of Bengal"). 

Suhrawardhy the populist leader of his time originally recruited Mujib to counter his political rivals. Under Suhwardhy, Mujib began his career as a muscleman student leader. Mujib remained loyal to him until his death in 1962. In the Calcutta riot Mujib was with his mentor Suhwardhy who was behind the Hindu-Muslim Calcutta riot in the Jinnah called Direct Action Day that claimed many innocent lives for which the Congress Party leadership continue to blame Suhwardhy.

 He was hardly a student. Despite his busy time, it seems that he managed to complete his education.

In Calcutta, one Mazharul Islam from Kutubdia of Chittagong was known to have written his BA examination. Back in Dhaka he again became a student of law at the Dhaka University; known to have recommended by Suhrwardhy to make him prepare for a capable statesman. 

. But he was seen to be sitting in the backbench with a group of his friends causing trouble to his professor in the law faculty classroom. Despite his disinterest in education, he was out and out a political person and unfortunately never finished his law degree from Dhaka University.

1,500 Bengalis were arrested in connection with the plot in 1967.^[3] In January 1968 the Home Department of Pakistan declared that it had detected a scheme to destabilize Pakistan and break the Eastern wing through an armed revolt, and had arrested 8 people.

Thomas Williams, a British lawyer, along with local attorneys challenged the formation of the tribunal by filing a petition in favor of Sheikh Mujib.^[3] The approvers appeared in the witness box and testified that they provided false evidence under the coercion of the State.^[3]


The case was ultimately withdrawn in the face of a massive popular uprising, which ultimately resulted in the 1969 uprising in East Pakistan and the fall of General Ayub Khan's dictatorship in 1969. The case and the resulting uprising is seen as one of the major events leading to Bengali nationalism and Bangladesh Liberation War.^[


He charged the provisional parliament to write a new constitution, and proclaimed the four fundamental principles of "nationalism, secularism, democracy and socialism," which would come to be known as "Mujibism." Mujib nationalised hundreds of industries and companies as well as abandoned land and capital and initiated land reform aimed at helping millions of poor farmers. 

A constitution was proclaimed in 1973 and elections were held, which resulted in Mujib and his party gaining power with an absolute majority.


In 1974, Mujib proclaimed a State of Emergency and amended the constitution to limit the powers of the legislative and judicial branches, established a one man, single party executive presidency, and instituted a one-party system. Calling these changes the "Second Revolution," Mujib assumed the presidency.

This evening I was invited at a Wedding Reception where the President ( Govt of Bangladesh) was a guest as well. The President never sh...owed up while I was there ( till 8:55PM) ..everything was halted until he arrives..... I decided to leave the reception............1.5 Hrs X 200 Guests = 300 Hrs waisted ..... way to go Mr President.

BASIS is now a Political Entity 

BASIS arranged and completed the Digital-World Expo 2014. In the closing ceremony they were to announce the few of the Best in categories like Apps, Stall-Decorations etc. The ceremony started on-time and were extended on political topics by 1-hr, but as of this writing BASIS still has not announced the winners/finalists.

In recent times since Mr. Shamim took over the helm BASIS has become a place for Directors-Only Club. Mr. Russel ( Champs21) , Mr.Abir ( MCC Ltd) has been widely known for internal trading and keeping a closed circle for all business opportunities that comes from the Bangladesh Government ,  NTF-II ( Netherlands funded ), Japan focus group etc.

BASIS is been leader-ed by non-tech bureaucrats who has no love for the Nation or Technology. Its all about sharing projects among the directors and delivery quality is "Take the money and Run" .

They are loud and un-clean. They have no parking facility so on a party nights cars are all over foot paths(!) and at the edges at the intersection causing frequent traffic jams. Drivers of these cars would be standing adrift or gathered gossiping along these footpaths,  smoking, yelling, spitting . A horrible slum scene emerges as these guys take over the low-lit footpaths from the evening to midnight.  

In the morning I never see these  Community Center guys cleaning up  the streets, the streets get cleaned up by the City Corporation cleaners. They rather feed the local street-dogs the wastes from last night.

The other side does not have simplest phone manner, I had to ask "is this Mazeda ?" .  The gentleman "Mirazu" noted doewn my phone, home location and said will call me back to confirm if this will be free installation "30 meter wire installation is free installation", That was last Friday.

Its Tuesday now, they never called. I finally decided to call back. Got the same phone-illiterate "Mirazu". He said he would call back after checking logbook and did in 10 mins. He said it will be 300 for installation. I asked why, is this more than 300 meters ?  He said that we are not sure of but installation will cost 300. I again asked if it waz to be free then why 300 ? He says there is "*certain restriction applies". I asked well the tell me in what cases it is actually Free . He started mumbling and finally completed the sentence "it will be 300 taka".  What a  schmuck .

Nov28th : 

Finally after 4 scheduled installations and 8-9 calls two guys finally arrived at my doorstep with a big box ..."1000 FT box" of wire. Installation required a Win machine which they did not have, they were asking if I had a screwdriver to lend. Anyhow finally they installed it worked find in windows but NOT in Ubuntu. BDT 700 installation + BDT 500 for god knows how much wire !

Ubuntu needed ppconfig . It worked fine for browsers but the Wine-apps  do not pickup the connection! Anyhow tried their Download servers , worked fine in win but not-in Ubuntu! Working on it now.  

Nov 30th.

Only god know why their PPPoE does not work with Dlink , USRobitics ! works only with TP-freaking-Link 300.   
I started to load DDWRT on USR router but its briked now.. Pissed a bit. Such schmucks these Mazeda installers and engineers ... it is like they have done maths for rotten-apples but not for rotten-oranges. Math is math suckers.

My Chrome & Firefox were not loading the Facebook, yahoo-mail  or akhoni.com properly. It was not picking up the CSS and JavaScripts so those pages were vertically, could not say which were what!  FB on my Android phone were not showing any photos .... pages taking for ever to load. Hangout-plugin in gmail waas taking forever to load. 
 Its been like that since Thursday Night. 

Started digging.  
Finally found that the MAZEDA DNS servers 172.16.172.6 & 172.16.172.7  are not been able to resolute the i.imgy.com, googleplugins etc. Made the primary DSN as 8.8.8.8 ( google) and it started to work all good from there on. 

This issue was not there a week ago!

To skip the login screen completely, boot into the console and then start the GUI, you must modify GRUB:
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
Change line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="text"
Ctrl-X, press Y and then Enter to save and exit.
sudo update-grub
Reboot and you should come up directly in tty1 -- no need to press Ctrl-Alt-F1.
Login, and then startx to boot into the default desktop, or
unity for Unity
unity-2d-shell for Unity 2D
gnome-shell for Gnome
sudo service lightdm start to get the login screen (if you fixed it)
To return to the login screen
Press Ctrl+Alt+F7 to return to the login screen. You can exit your terminal session on tty1 by typing exit before you do that.
Doing startx -- :1 will start another X session under terminal tty1, logging you in directly (use :2, etc. for even more displays). Note that logging into multiple sessions as the same user is not recommendedand could lead to system instability.

 Then edit the file /etc/ssh/ssh_config. Make these lines be in that configuration file:
ForwardAgent yes
ForwardX11 yes
ForwardX11Trusted yes
Now open /etc/ssh/sshd_config. Attention, the file name is sshd_config, not the same as previous one. Make sure this line be in this configuration file
X11Forwarding yes
Restart your SSH server. Now, go to your client computer, from which you will connect to this computer.
I have no idea on how to do next on Windows. If your client computer runs on Linux or Mac OS X, or other OS with X server running, go ahead.
If your client computer runs on Mac OS X, make sure that you have installed X11 for Mac OS X. Go to “Application”- > “Utilities” to start X11 and you will see an xterm terminal in front of you by default. If no such window, click “Applications” – > “Terminal”.

The trick is to reconfigure x11-common for “Anyone”. This can be done by running the following command in the terminal:

/etc/X11/Xwrapper.config – This file has as setting called “allowed_users”. It can accept three values:
1. root
2. anybody
3. console
The above values are self explanatory. You can edit this value to set as anybody for normal user to start X server. If normal user starts X server from console, console can also be set. It can be like this.

Muslim Law Limitations: 


* Per-emption (Shufa) is not applicable towards Mortgage-sale, this defeats the whole propose of keeping away "Starngers" from  land (community).  

* Mr.Kalam has no boy-child. On his death Mr.Kalam's daughters will get 2/3, wife 1/8 and eventually Mr.Kalam's brother/sisters/parents will be taking up the rest. Ideally Mr.Kalam would want his immediate family to keep all his properties which is NOT supported under Muslim Law unless there is a Boy-child.    

Wills are only partially executable (Max 1/3).
An alternative may be Heeba (Gift), but that is executed on completion of legal-process and not at Death. So if your only child decides to ignore you after receiving Heeba (Gift) , you are royally screwed.

 
*The 1961 Muslim family Law provisioned Talaaq-i-tafweez to be assigned to the Groom at the time of wedding. The power of talaaq may be delegated to his wife and as Faizee observes, “this form of delegated divorce is perhaps the most potent weapon in the hands of a Muslim wife to obtain freedom without the intervention of any court and is now beginning to be fairly common in India”.

* The Zihar kind of Talak ( which is "If the husband (who is sane and adult) compares his wife  to his mother or any other female within a prohibited degree, the wife has a right to refuse herself to him until he has performed penance. In default of expiation by the penance, the wife has a right to apply for a judicial divorce") empowers only the Wife and dont reciprocate. 

The Hanafi "Residuaries" , the concept that when all parts are distributed if anything remaining ( which seems common event) it would go to some-party. This kind of logic of Math seems "Imposing" and lacks-logic. 

* If a Deceased Muslims child turns-out to be  non-muslim, he/she will not be getting any part of the Succession. 

* The implementation of "Right to the Remainder" seems bruit force method to cover the 100% of the property.

Constitutional Law: 

Supremacy of the constitution, Art#7

All powers in the republic belong to people .....Constitution is, as the solemn expression of the will of the people .... If any other law is inconsistent.... The other law shall be void.

Constitution has both "Physical" and "Psychological" presence, its not a mere collection of rules but in many cases a Philosophical-Guideline welcoming updates, inclusions.

May be we should consider clear "Constitutional Law" provisioning declaring that constitutionyright-Actal recovery after any Unconstitutional takeover will provide fitting punishment to the pursuers of the takeover.
